Lok-N-Blok Systems LLC ("Lok-N-Blok", "we", "us") warrants that Lok-N-Blok® blocks and associated fasteners manufactured by or for us, when installed in accordance with our published installation guide and the stamped construction documents for your project, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the following periods from the date of original sale to the first end-user:
For any valid warranty claim, our exclusive obligation is, at our option, to (a) repair the defective product, (b) replace the defective product with functionally equivalent product, or (c) refund the original purchase price of the defective product. Labor, removal, reinstallation, finishing, and consequential repair costs are not covered unless expressly agreed in writing before installation.
This warranty does not cover:
Construction methods using Lok-N-Blok® blocks must comply with the International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), and any state, county, or municipal amendments in effect at the project site. We provide general technical data (structural test reports, thermal performance data, ICC-ES evaluation where applicable) to assist design professionals, but:
The project owner, general contractor, and licensed design professional of record retain full responsibility for design, permitting, and inspection compliance.
Where Lok-N-Blok has certified an installer, the certification applies only to installation technique. It does not extend to structural design, site conditions, or code compliance. A certified installer is not our agent and cannot bind us to warranty obligations beyond those stated here.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the limited warranty above is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Lok-N-Blok. Lok-N-Blok disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Lok-N-Blok, its affiliates, licensors, suppliers, or resellers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, cost of substitute goods, or construction delay costs) arising out of or related to the product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will Lok-N-Blok's aggregate liability under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the product at issue.
Marketing claims on blokusa.com relating to sustainability, embodied carbon, recycled content, or environmental benefit are based on measurements and assumptions as of the date stated. These claims are not a product warranty. They are not a representation that any specific certification (LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, etc.) will be awarded to a project using our product.
The warranty on any third-party product (including but not limited to waterproofing membranes, insulation, mechanical systems, and finish materials) used in conjunction with Lok-N-Blok® blocks is the warranty of that third-party manufacturer. We make no warranty, express or implied, with respect to third-party products.
The limited warranty in Section 1 is transferable one time to a subsequent owner of the building in which the product is installed, provided the subsequent owner registers the transfer within 60 days of the property transfer by emailing info@blokusa.com with the original order number, prior owner name, new owner name, and property address.
This warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which Lok-N-Blok Systems LLC is organized, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, or through arbitration under our Terms of Service, as applicable.
