Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-04-17 · Effective: 2026-04-17
1. Conformance target
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all public pages of blokusa.com. Authenticated dashboards (admin, investor, distributor, customer portals) target the same standard, with audits prioritized based on user count and workflow criticality.
2. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML. Pages use proper heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3), landmarks (
<nav>, <main>, <footer>), and lists for list content.
- Color contrast. Body text meets 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio on our dark theme (#c8d5cc on #050a07 = 13.6:1). Large text and non-text UI meets 3:1.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements are reachable by Tab, with visible focus styles. No keyboard traps. Skip-to-content links on pages with complex navigation.
- Screen readers. We test against VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows). Form inputs have explicit
<label> associations. Dynamic content changes are announced via ARIA live regions where appropriate.
- Reduced motion. Animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion: reduce — count-up animations, timeline reveals, and parallax are disabled for users who request it.
- Responsive design. Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px viewport width and scales to 200% text-zoom without loss of content or function.
- Alt text. Informative images carry meaningful
alt attributes. Decorative images use alt="". Complex diagrams include long-description text.
- Error recovery. Form validation errors are announced by the browser and described in plain language, not color-only.
3. Known limitations
We are transparent about what we have not yet fully solved:
- Embedded Google Drive video player. The Drive-hosted marketing video iframe in our data rooms is controlled by Google and its keyboard/screen-reader support is governed by their player, not ours. We are testing a fallback native
<video> element with captions.
- 3D block visualizer (in development). When shipped, the 3D view will include a non-interactive 2D fallback and text-based spec sheet for non-visual access.
- Third-party PDFs. Investor deck PDFs generated outside our authoring pipeline may not yet be fully tagged. We are remediating the most-viewed decks first.
4. Assistive technologies we test with
- VoiceOver on macOS Sonoma + Safari / Chrome
- VoiceOver on iOS + Safari
- NVDA 2024.x on Windows + Firefox
- Keyboard-only navigation on all major browsers
- 200% + 400% browser zoom
- Windows High Contrast mode
5. Reporting a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on blokusa.com — a page that doesn't work with your screen reader, a form you can't complete with a keyboard, a contrast issue that makes text unreadable — please contact us:
Please describe: (a) the URL of the page, (b) what you were trying to do, (c) what assistive technology + browser + OS you were using, and (d) what went wrong. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a target resolution date or a usable workaround.
6. Legal framework
This statement is provided in the spirit of:
- Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act (where we interact with federal agencies)
- California's Unruh Civil Rights Act
- The European Union Accessibility Act (EAA) for users accessing from the EU
This statement is not a contractual warranty of specific WCAG results on every page at every moment, but it does reflect our bona-fide commitment to equal access.
7. Formal complaints
If we cannot resolve your concern to your satisfaction, you may file a formal complaint with:
- U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division — ada.gov
- Your state's attorney general
- For EU users: your national data-protection authority or equivalent accessibility ombudsman
8. Continuous improvement
We review this statement and our conformance annually at minimum, and after any major release. Our most recent internal audit was completed on 2026-04-12.
